The road map regarding the dates of entry into force of some provisions of the Technical Regulation on the Classification of Hazards, Labeling and Packaging of Chemical Products, approved by Resolution No. 539 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 10, 2024:
- June 29, 2024 - Start of registration of notifications about the use of an alternative name of a chemical substance
- November 2024 - The Technical Regulation on the Classification of Hazards, Labeling and Packaging of Chemical Products enters into force
- December 2024 - Technical regulation on the safety of chemical products enters into force, Start of the procedure for preliminary state registration of a chemical substance, Registration of a new chemical substance
- January 2025 - Start of the procedure for informing the Ministry of Health in accordance with Section 6 of the Technical Regulation on the Classification of Labeling and Packaging Hazards
- November 2025 Classification, labeling and packaging of chemical products in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations on the Classification of Hazards, Labeling and Packaging
- December 2025 - Completion of the procedure for preliminary state registration of a chemical substance
- October 2026 - Registration of existing chemicals in weight quantities of 1,000 tonnes or more.
- November 2026 - Notice on the classification of the danger of chemical substances, mixtures in accordance with the criteria defined in paragraphs 3.11.2.1-3.11.2.3, 4.2.2.1-4.2.2.3, 4.3.2.1-4.3.2.4, 4.4.2.1-4.4.2.4 of Appendix I to the Technical Regulation on the Classification of the Danger of Marking and Packaging
- April 2027 - Issuance of a permit for the use of a particularly dangerous chemical substance that is withdrawn from the market
- May 2028 - Notice on the classification of the hazard of mixtures that are provided on the market for the first time in accordance with the criteria defined in clauses 3.11.2.1-3.11.2.3, 4.2.2.1-4.2.2.3, 4.3.2.1-4.3.2.4, 4.4.2.1-4.4.2.4 Appendix I to the Technical Regulations for Classification of Hazards of Marking and Packaging
- June 2028 - Registration of existing chemicals in weight quantities of 100 to 1000 tons or more.
- March 2030 - Registration of existing chemicals in weight quantities from 1 to 100 tons or more.
